The driver and vehicle files uploaded and saved in TACHOfresh manually or via RDL can be automatically transferred to the VDO Fleet application for analysis and reporting with the use of "VDO Fleet Connect". The following describes the setup in detail, which can only be carried out by service partners:
Step 1: Configuration in VDO Fleet
Log in to the customer account of VDO Fleet as Admin
Assign the package "VDO Fleet-Connect Customer" to the customer in the customer account.
Select the "Connect" panel
"Select "Source
Search "Tachofresh" and select it
"Click/confirm "/create source
Step 2: Configuration in TACHOfresh
Log in as service partner
Select customer account details from the customer overview
"Select "File upload connection
Enter the information from the "Access" field of the VDO Fleet account in the "Account" field and set the account to "Activated" if necessary.
Save details
General:
The service is a "push" service, which means that every 15 minutes the TACHOfresh database is checked to see if new files have been saved. These new files are then automatically transferred to the VDO Fleet application. If a transfer was unsuccessful, there are 5 further attempts at transfer. If these are unsuccessful, the transfer is cancelled for this process
Important !
Check the entry of the customer in the "Account" field very carefully. Since there is only one common password for access to "VDO Fleet Connect", if a valid entry is made but it concerns another customer, the files of the other, non-applicable customer will be uploaded.
