Display of masterdata of the telematic box
In the Configuration section there are the options:
to connect a vehicle:
this requires an A.M.S.E.L text beforehand. By clicking on the link "Connect vehicle", a page is called up on which all vehicles are displayed that can be connected to this box. By selecting the appropriate vehicle, the box is then assigned to the vehicle.
disconnect a vehicle:
This may be necessary, for example, if the vehicle has been sold and the box has been removed. To do this, click on the corresponding link and disconnect the vehicle from the box.
The Tachograph information is for display only, without the possibility to change it.
The Box Configuration shows the start of the contract and a possible blocking.
The RDL configuration allows you to change the baud rate for accessing the tachograph and to adjust the connection type (CAN2 or K-Line).
A.M.S.E.L.
Clicking on the tab "A.M.S.E.L" shows this view. If A.M.S.E.L. protocols are available, the results are listed here. If the current protocol is faulty, or if a new A.M.S.E.L. protocol is to be created, this can be done by clicking on the link "Start new A.M.S.E.L. test". However, only if the ignition of the vehicle is switched on. A corresponding note is given in the first line of this section.
Hardware replacement- NEW
In several European countries, the 2G/GSM network has either already been switched off or the switch-off is imminent. As many of the installed hardware boxes use the 2G/GSM network as their only communication base, a change to LTE-capable hardware is essential.
To make the hardware replacement process as simple as possible, TACHOfresh has revised the process with the aim of reducing the installation process to what is absolutely necessary. Here is the quick guide:
Identification of the vehicle in which the hardware needs to be replaced
Removal of the existing hardware
Installation of the new hardware including SIM card and connection to the tachograph as well as ignition, power and ground
Starting the AMSEL test
When the AMSEL test is started, the hardware is automatically connected to the vehicle and the customer account. All data is still assigned to the vehicle, as only the hardware has changed. In addition, the connection of the removed hardware to the vehicle is deleted, so no further manual deletion activities are required.
